Use the ASUS web address
Type router.asus.com into your browser’s address bar and press Enter. This hostname works on most current ASUS models and redirects you to the router’s local login page automatically. You don’t need an internet connection for this to work since the request never leaves your local network.
If your browser redirects you to a search results page instead of a login screen, skip ahead and use the IP address method below.
Use the IP address instead
If the web address doesn’t load, type 192.168.1.1 directly into your browser’s address bar and press Enter. Most ASUS routers use this as their default gateway IP. On some older or custom-configured models, the IP may be 192.168.50.1, which you can confirm by checking the label on the bottom of the router.
Completing this step brings up the ASUS router login screen, where you’ll see fields for your username and password. At this point, you’re ready to sign in.
Step 3. Sign in and update key settings

Browser won’t load the login page
Start by confirming your device is actually connected to the router, not to a neighboring Wi-Fi network or a mobile hotspot. Open a command prompt and run ipconfig (Windows) or ifconfig (Mac/Linux) to check your gateway address. If the result shows something other than 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.50.1, your device is on the wrong network.
